After providing my feedback on their support I did not get an apology but simply a statement that my experience is not normal and they will rectify this in the near future. #Remo more software upgrades professional(1) They would ask me to email them an hour before Im ready for them to remote into my computer, and then often I would not hear back for hours, or a day! As a professional myself I would expect a formal appointment time. Their customer support service leaves much to be desired. The developer fixed the bug in probably less than 30mins and I was ultimately able to recover all my files. At $179 for the product you would expect better customer service and support. 18 days later I was helped by a developer, who clearly did not spend two weeks delving into the matter, since he asked what the problem was, to refresh him since he read it earlier but could not remember everything. I contacted support and they said they would put their development team on it. It would take weeks and weeks to go through that process. With hundreds of thousands of files, I would need to find where the saving stopped, and continue from there. However, upon saving the files, each time it would get to a bad or corrupted file/sector on the external drive, it would stop with the message that it saved successfully. Using the demo I was able to recover all files from a formatted external hard drive. I have nothing but praise for these gentlemen, they never gave up on my problem, and now Im a very satisfied customer! I highly recommend the support department of this company. Because they never quit, they were finally able to access my PC and successfully load the software for me. I was ready to give up, but Technical Service was not! Through unfailing patience (even as I grew more frustrated), they attempted several times to access my PC long distance and find an answer. An hour on the phone with technical support did not help. #Remo more software upgrades full versionNow comes the rub - I could not get the full version to load on my PC. When I tried the Remo Optimizer free version, I was very impressed with its performance, and purchased the full version. After I retired I continued to use my laptop daily, and I rely on it a great deal. I worked with personal computer software in some capacity from the early 1980s. The first PC I worked with was a Radio Shack TRS-80-1, which had no internal memory you saved your programs to a cassette tape. I have been around personal computers since 1980, when they were first introduced.
